DooM 2: Hell on Earth continues the story of the space marine "Doom Guy", but since when has Doom been about the story lets talk about the action.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics really look dated, but for some reason I find myself stunned with aww when I look at some of the levels and with all the wads coming out it really shows what can be done to the doom engine.

Gameplay: 8/10

Who doesn't like to go thru 5-10 mins of blowing up stuff and finding keys with incy bit of puzzel added in, I love it. This game has shown that something so simplistic can really stand out and blow everyone away. And all the great new enemies to hurt. My favorite part is the 1st level and getting the chainsaw and kill everyone in the level with it, good times.

Difficulty: 10/10

On my first time trying Nightmare! I went to bed screaming and crying myself to sleep because I couldn't get past the first level. enough said.

Controls: 7/10

The controls were really good, but thats before mouses were starting to be used. With the keyboard the turning speed is sorta slow so you might get killed by a chaingunner, but with programs like jDOOM they put in freelook and mouse control.

Story: 5/10

Well your on "Earth" now and you find out the demons have some along to say, How's it goin'. Your job is to free the humans, destroy the heart of there base and kill "John Romero" (do the no clipping code and walk up to the icon of sin to find out. .

That pretty much wraps up most of Doom 2, it gives more of that great gaming that we grew up with and adds to it in almost everyway, so go out and get someway.
