Grand Theft Auto London 1961 is the 2nd expansion pack to Grand Theft Auto 1 along with London 1969. In other words it is a prequal to GTA London 1969,
It fetures new missions, 22 new cars (making a total of 54 cars combined with the 32 in 1969), a new cutscreen and a new mutiplayable map set in Manchester.

Graphics
Exactly the same as 1969: it uses the engine of the 1st GTA with the same explosive, blood splatters and skid marks.
A lot of London's landmarks are in this game like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby (also known as the Houses of Parliament) and the Tower Bridge. Also Hyde Park is in as well as a football stadium complete with players and footballs. The cars are also very well designed to look like their real counter-parts. Oh and the whole map is completely the same as in 1969 so don't expect anything new added.

Gameplay
Cars aplenty here with more of a selection (54 compared to the 32 in 1969). Some of the vehicles include a Tank, a tour bus (the one with people on the top floor), the London taxi, a Mini, and the car that looks like Austin Powers Jaguar. In this Spy Game there's even a car named after James Bond that looks like a Aston Martin.
Also there are brand new missions with the first level no longer having just a single mission. However they are much harder than the ones in 1969 and you proabley won't succeed the first time.
The weapons are the same as 1969. They include a Pistol, a Uzi, a Rocket Launcher, and a Flamethower. The Rampages have'nt changed either although I think some have been moved.

Sound
The music is again exactly the same as in 69 but still the 60's soundtrack really does fit in. The sounds in this game are great!!! People scream when they get torched by a flamethower and make funny noises when you try to run them over. You can here the doors slamming when you get in and out of a car. Bone-crunching sounds when you run people over. Cops speak in the english accent when they try to catch you. Proper 60's sirens from police cars and ambulances. The sound list goes on and on.

Conclusion
I say give it a try. The new missions and cars should keep you busy for a few days along with the good graphics and sounds from 1969. And the best thing about this pack: its available online for FREE!
