Marvric, I didn't even realize they were related! That's crazy.. Imagine if we had a descent with geo-mod.. that'd be pretty insane. Of course, the geo-mod was significantly toned down after the first Red Faction game. It went from being able to literally make tunnels anywhere, to only being able to blow up certain objects.

It's funny that Decent 4 was scrapped, and it's engine, Geo-Mod along with key parts of the story, The Ultor Mining Corporations became Red Faction... Now that Red Faction Gorillas has revived that game, lets see a Descent 4! I want Geo-Mod 2 powered Descent! I want to pull out my dual joy stick setup and go ape shit on some virus fracked mining drones in modern 3D! Heck, let's link Red Faction directly to Descent and say that you've become a interplanetary mercenary working for the Faction against the EDF...

6 months later and the Mercenary expansion has been uploaded, lol. From what I remember, it's a bunch of new missions and whatnot. It's pretty good I believe.. Now we're just waiting for my upload to actually be put up on the site..

All of the Descent games are among my favorites, this one is one that I still play from time to time.
