This version of the game will NOT work in Windows 7 64bit. I am also assuming this will not work in any other 64bit version of Windows. I tried setting compatibility to Windows 95, and even XP, and it just does not work. Instead, look for the normal DOS version here on the website, which will run perfectly, since the file has been modified to be installed with the DOSBOX configurations already set up.

I was too young and too poor to be familiar with this first time around. Now, however, I am able to enjoy one of the best RTS games ever! The nukes were a bit of a disappointment though. Oh, and the CPU civilisations always seem to advance at about three times the speed that I do, but that could just be bad management on my part. -tongue-

In my opinion, the DOS (and original) version has far better graphics and sound effects. This looks and sounds like a hasty job to make it run on Windows.
So, get DOSBox and get the DOS version of this extremely addictive game.  :)
