Dear CGN visitors,

First of all we want to inform you guys about the fact that we are still going strong. At the content side we are adding stuff here and there but it still takes too much time before contributions will show up on our website, sorry about that but we are seriously working on it. Next to this several changes have been implemented all over the site as you can read in the summary below, for instance all advertisements have been removed to speed up the site even more and our moderators have got a new comment moderation tool which makes it possible to remove useless messages all over the site within a few seconds.

Next to this we are currently working on so called "Ready-2-Run" packages. Perhaps you're wondering what Ready-2-Run packages are, well we are talking about full game downloads prepared for Windows XP, Vista and 7. What we mainly do is patch a game featuring the latest patches around and slipstream DOSBox along with our own script to enjoy DOS games just by using the shortcut our installer creates at your Desktop and/or Start-menu. It has never been easier to enjoy DOS games available over here. In the list below you can verify which packages have been updated yet.

Concerning screenshots. Also this time a lot of screenshots have been added all over the site, right now less than 0.05% of our gamepages don't feature screenshots. Some games only have one or two screenshots, well these gamepages will be updated with more self-taken shots later this year.

Another small note, we are currently sharing over 100GB of content. And last but not least to give you an impression why it takes so long before your contribution has been moderated: over 80GB of contributions are still waiting to be moderated.
