Description: D-Fend is the best all-around frontend GUI for the popular DOSBox emulator. I think many gamers that missed the DOS command line era will be grateful to this utility. And experienced PC users will also use this utility because of the little amount of time spent and the wide range of options given to set up a game in order to run smoothly.

Version 2.0.62.42 supports DOSBox 0.62 and 0.63, and helps you run your favourite DOS games in a few clicks. D-Fend features a nice wizard to easy set up your games, and the GUI allows to tweak almost any imaginable option built in DOSBox, without having to go to the command line. A must have if using DOSBox.

Well, done a lot of testing with D-fend reloaded, happy to report that seems 100% compatible with D-fend, and the latest Dosbox...

by now I'm into linux so I gave DBGL a try, must confess that D-fend was so easy to use :(... miss it already, as I don't want to use win anymore (6 months in a row without caring too much about it :D)...

begging for a good d-fend linux port...

http://members.home.nl/mabus/ link to bye message from author... from here, I must thank the autor for D-Fend... other tools have appeared since D-Fend, but D-Fend was the first for me to put it easy on DOSBox... and I'm not a newbie on DOS ;)... but sometimes, you don't want to spend the whole afternoon trying to tweak DOSBox options to run a quick privateer session!...
