Registration process change User avatar

We have removed the activation mail part from our registration process. It caused too much trouble, and wasn't really necessary anymore. Registering should be easier and faster now :)

I'd also like to make some comments on why our contribution system isn't there yet. I had a pretty hard week (some serious things happened which I won't describe here) and was unable to work on CGN.
I started working again yesterday, and gave the registration pages priority today, because the activation mail issue was getting out of hand.

I hope you understand my situation. Have a little more patience, and be rewarded with some additional features ;)

We do protect against it. Log out and go to the registration page. Look near the bottom ;)

Yeah, but some people like to create thousands of accounts on sites tht don't protect against it.

Extra accounts aren't really needed because of the points system...

Yeah dude. Your not getting paid for any of this. You take all the time you need.

Oh yeah, and I hope taking the e-mail activation from the registration process dosn't open the door for idiots to create a bunch of extra dormant accounts.
