I figured some more regular updates about the state of CGN, and its successor CGN2 were in order.

That's why I've decided to start a blog about the topic. From now on, all news about CGN2 will be posted there instead of on our frontpage. I'll try to post more frequently as well.

If the moderation system is down for us we can't add content. With CGN2 we will see an improved contributions system, it will make up for the time you have to wait now.

To be honest, it's not good enough. Only 2 people can moderate submitted content right now and the forums are not fully integrated with the rest of the site. I'm one of the moderators on the forums and am looking forward to CGN2.

I meant: no need for CGN2, so why change it? CGN as it's now is good enough..
