AoE series is a classic. Each game just gets better and better. Two things I liked about Meiers games are that the next one in each series gets better (not just more of the original), and all of his games have great playability (addicting and you can play for long hours).

Age is the least important prerequisite when it comes to a game being Abandonware. But it should still at least be 8 years old or more, which I can't say for some of the games that are being hosted here.
