I was told that at one time arcade cabinets for HOTD2 had an option to play with the gun or keyboard. I'm not sure if this is true, but at least they kept the terrible voice acting.

I would have preferred to use a gun and a target and I don't like words appearing on the screen, because its such a awesome looking game visually and they kind of get in the way, however it was a unique idea

How could anyone say this game sucks? It's amazing. The creators even made fun of it. It was meant to be tongue and cheek. like having to type flower names while zombies explode. Also seeing the main characters with keyboards instead of guns is awesomely hilarious.

Sorry to double post, but I saw on a page back saying it receives bad ratings. Perhaps by electronic gaming monthly, but if you look it up on user review sites it tends to have an above average rating. Gamespot has it 7.5, with a user score of 8.3. for example.
