In my opinion it's the best version of the 2D saga. 36 fighters to choose, including bosses (plus one hidden, Chameleon). I have the original CD. File size on cd is only 130 mb, it includes versions for DOS and Windows, as well as Directx. I think the rest is CD music played during the game. I use win 98, and there's no need to run the video card setup, just copy univbe.drv to main folder.

The game works fine but if you have xp/2000 your gonna need the patch. Zedas' problem is that he installed direct x2 :D

Awe man, why couln't they just put a regular download for this game, oh well the other Mortal Kombats are still good :(

No the iso worked just fine. It was the installer and the video card detector that did terrible things to my computer. It's old so it didn't bother to check before slammin me with direct x 2 and that's gotta be the wierdest video card autodetect thingy I've ever seen. Wait XP patch? what xp patch?

Are you sure? I ran this game but didn't work on Xp so I installed the XP patch. After that it ran perfectly.
