Short Introduction:
Sega Geneses owners had Sonic, Nintendo and Super Nintendo owners had Super Mario, and PC owners had Jazz Jackrabbit. Jazz is a little rabbit that comes into a nightmare when the princess is captured by a bad guy called Devan, what you have to do in this game is find a way through a lot of levels and finally beat the big boss in the end of every episode, you have to do this to save "Rabbits Heaven" and to save the princess. During your way through the game you will see many bad creatures, you can shoot them down with four different guns, this doesn´t end in a bloodbath of course because this game is written for kids and adults.

Features:
Jazz Jackrabbit contains six episodes. Every episode contains three planets and you have to complete two missions on every planet. In the end of every episode you have to fight against the guy that captured the princess (Devan). Every level in this game has a special crystal, when you pick it up you will enter a "Bonus Level" after you finished the level where you found it, the bonus levels have a 3D environment so this game is two games in one, a platform game and a 3D game. What you have to do when you are in a bonus level is collect crystals, when you did this within´ the time that you have had for it you will get an extra life when you don´t make it you don´t get an extra life, that´s how simple it is. For the rest you can choose a difficulty level from easy to very hard when you start a new game, so this game is written for everyone, good gamers and kids.

The Graphics:
Like many games from Epic Megagames also this game has amazing graphics for its age. Jazz Jackrabbit looks so good that it´s just like you are playing in a cartoon nevertheless it´s just a game. I can only say one weak point of the graphics and that´s that the 3-D Bonus Levels don´t look very good, the engine sucks in that case but when you look at the normal part of the game (the 2D platform part) the engine is very powerful.

Music and Sounds:
This game uses a new sound engine. This engine beats all sound systems that came out before this game came on the market. Standard sound effects even sound cool and the music is superb, it rocks!, I have always been a big fan of the games where the people at Epic Megagames worked on, for example One Must Fall 2097, it has amazing music of super quality. So the sound engine of this game is amazing and I can´t say anything else about it.

The Gameplay:
The gameplay is very speedy, sometimes you even can´t see an enemy in front of you because the game is so damn fast that my eyes don´t notice some enemies. For the rest the gameplay is very standard, CTRL to change weapons, ALT to shoot and SPACEBAR to jump, it´s very simple and on the other side very nice too.

What do you have to do?
What you have to do is find a way through many levels, standard this game contains six episodes which means that it has about forty levels, this is enough to keep you busy for many hours. Every episode has the same goal, save the princess that was kidnapped before by a bad guy. Normally you first have to complete three worlds, every world contains two levels, and after you did that you have to fight against the bad guy that kidnapped princess. A beautiful goal isn´t it?

Conclusion:
Jazz Jackrabbit is a very nice game and it´s ten times more then worth a try. When you like this game don´t forget to take a look at the other Jazz Jackrabbit games that we have for you. On the whole I think everyone will like this game especially because of its fantastic sound and graphics engine, so I want to say try this fantastic classic!
