This one was awesome but the steep learning curve kept many from playing. HOWEVER, the remake is AWESOME if even more difficult. THe sequel, which is freeware, is cool but 'suckerware' as well, meaning to get full features need to donate. EITHER WAY, the games are fun, worth a try even if just to listen to the theme song (on the remake/WoF2)

This sucks on PC, it's as bad as the C64 version. The sound is horrible and it doesn't even have a blue background with clouds lol! If you like this game, try the Commodore Amiga version - it was the best port/remake of this classic ever.

I remember playing this game for hours on my Commodore 64. It's an addictive, side-scrolling airplane shooter.
