First of all i wanted to say that i was a sonic die hard fan, when they first made the game i had all of them. it was a really fun game back then.

Graphics: 7
The graphics of sonic and knuckles are good for their time. of course they are nothing special. some of the main points for the graphics are the levels with the ruins. there is good detail here. sonic, knuckles, and tails are all average graphics, easily able to be told that they are what they are, but not much detail. the bosses of the levels have great detail done to them, you can see every cannon pipe and all. so for all of this the graphics portion receives a 7

Maneuvering: 8
There is much maneuverability in this game, even though you can move left and right up and down, but you can also do other things, you can get by through swimming, bouncing, spinning, and rope swinging to name a few. all of these may be essential toward progression or may be there for the means of getting to something special. there is a certain obstacle that i cant get past though, so I'm stuck at the beginning of the game on one of them :( . for the overall maneuverability score, it receives an 8

Sound: 7
Unfortunately i have a laptop with blown out speakers, so ill have to remember what i can. the sound was good, but could still use a little improvement, you can hear the water, your charge spin, and other things, but i just couldn't feel it if you know what i mean. the sound is good enough for playing the game though so for the sound part i give it a 7.

Re-Playability: 4
This is pretty much the only downfall i could ever find about the sonic series, i never really wanted to play the game after i beat it, it was just the same thing over again, there was no randomness or anything, its just level after level of the same stuff. so the playability receives a 4.

Difficulty: 9
The game is not difficult at all, except for the one obstacle that I'm stuck on, i beat all but one of the sonic games when i was 7. the game is not hard at all, the only part that may be tricky is maybe an obstacle that requires some thought or a boss. other than that its not difficult at all. so the difficulty rating receives a 9

Gameplay: 10
Lets just say that its a great game, that's all you need to know.

Total score: 43/60 or a 70/100
This game is c rating, the main thing that hurts it is the fact that its not a replayable game in my opinion, some people enjoy playing a game over and over, and sometimes i do, but to me sonic is just not one of those types of games, excluding the newer ones of course, so excluding the fact that its not really replayable, you should give the game a try, its really good and will give you weeks of joy, only days for me though since i play games to much, so what are you waiting for, DOWNLOAD IT!

To solve the speed problem, download this patch at: http://info.sonicretro.org/images/c/c1/S3kpatch.7z
extract it, put it in the sonic folder, execute it and check the option. Solved  :)
