The Blues Brothers films were watched by a lot of people when they were released. The films were popular around that time. Titus Interactive had the great idea to make a game featuring Jake and Elwood, the two Blues Brothers.

I can still remember I played this game with a joystick when I was young. I didn't understand the intention of it and that's why I never passed the first level. Untill a couple of years later a classmate told me that I first had to pick up an instrument in one of the stores in the begin of the level, and then I had to use a umbrella to fly over the mad farmers at the top of the supermarket. And after that, I only had to fly to the ground and there were a couple of flags. I walked by one and I finished the first level. The rest of the game was clear and I finished the whole game in just a couple of hours after I finished the first level.

There are in total five levels in Blues Brothers. Some of the levels you'll have to pass are the prison, the factory and the construction well. Each level has new enemies which are harder and harder to beat.

Something that's less good in this game is that you can't save the game. If you finally reached level 5 with just one life and you die there, you can't reload the game. In fact, you have to start the game again at level one. Very annoying if you just like to have a break while you're playing the game; if you want to finish the game, you have to start and finish the game without an option to stop the game.

Conclusion:
if you liked to watch the Blues Brothers movies, you might like to play this game aswell. The graphics and recognizable background music are very good, and that's why I can say only one thing: download this game, you'll thank me later!
