Bow down and meet your maker! Okay. so this isn´t a review for 'Gods', but it is a review for Street Fighter 2, arguably one of the greatest fighting games of all time...

Street Fighter 2 was a Super Nintendo BOMB!! It had everything you could dream of in a game, nice, detailed graphics, animated back sets for each fighter, special moves, great sound effects and a whole lot more. This is defiantly one of the great's, in which without, wouldn´t have spawned off clones like `Tekken´, or `Virtua fighter´.

I think as far as the game a whole, Street Fighter 2 beats its predecessor, hands down. This has great characters including Blanka (green monster who generates electric), Dhalsim (skinny Indian guy who can make his arms and legs longer), and many other greats which I don´t have time to go into. This game made the phrase 'two player game' come alive. It was everything you talked about with your friends at school, or on the phone, how good you was, who you could beat, who your favourite character was, etc. I think this game even spawned off a sticker collection?!

Each fighter has their own theme and setting, as well as sounds which you would expect a person to make when they have just had the hell kicked out of them! This game even involves special moves, which if mastered properly will dramatically effect how easily you win. This game is a must in any gamers collection.

Makes a special appearance in 1993 movie City Hunter.
The main character transforms to any character, and battles some guy.

Diskboy made a mistake. Lamest port. US Gold's dead already. Thank God.

I have to agree with everyone here. The PC version was BAD! Very bad! It's better to simply download the Arcade, SNES, or Genesis rom for this game, because it seriously MADE the fighting genre what it is today, and playing this crapfest will only give you the wrong impression.
