Company description
HAL Laboratory, Inc. is a Japanese video game developer that was founded on February 21, 1980. Its name comes from the HAL 9000 computer in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
They started off making games for the MSX system during the early '80s. Since 1986, all of their games have been released for Nintendo systems.
The company is perhaps most famous for the Kirby game series. They are also known for the Eggerland game series, including the Adventures of Lolo.
