Midway is a publisher and developer. From the beginning up to 1998 Midway was a part of WMS Industries, a maker of arcade machines. This is why they have a lot of "arcade-style" games. One of their most famous games is "Mortal Kombat", it's a typical arcade game but it's also very nice for home computers.
